Open champion Padraig Harrington was so impressed with the power and accuracy of the new Ci7, he's asked the company to make him a set to his own shaft specification.
After trying the clubs recently he commented: “I just wish I was a 10-handicapper again so I could play this club. It's so powerful.”
The latest in shaft technologies is integrated into the Ci7, which has steel and graphite options featuring Progressive Tip Design, which means a softer tip (lower kick point) in the long irons for higher ball flight, progressing to a stiffer tip (higher kick point) in the shorter irons to get the best control and accuracy.
The steel option is the Tour-proven True Temper TX 105 lightweight shaft that generates increased swing speed for longer shots. It also features a low torque .450-wide tip to reduce twisting on off-centre hits for straighter shots.
