Description
Titleist AP2 irons are an advanced performancing, multi-material, dual cavity, technically forged iron with a traditional solid feel with looks and shot control for the skilled player.
The AP2's highly technical multi-material construction features a steel body with a tungsten nickel sole, an elastomer bar and aluminium cavity plate. The dual cavity design of the AP2 iron pushes weight to the perimeter for extra forgiveness. The central cross member features a soft elastomer cushion providing structural rigidity directly behind the impact area whilst dampening face vibration for an overall better feel.
The lower cavity the iron is enclosed by a tungsten nickel box. This high density material locates the weight low and deep while providing structural rigidity and a low frequency vibration dampening for an incredible solid feel. The tungsten nickel box also helps to reduce the sole and back flange width for a better turf performance and shot control.
