Tour-milled grooves for shot-stopping spin from precise distances are cut into each new Wilson Staff Tw9 wedge. New, lower-lofted cavity back options bridge the gap between the modern pitiching wedge and the sand wedge, for improved gapping.
The 60, 58, 56, 54 and 52 degree loft options feature tour preferred shapes with smaller heads. The 48 and 50 degree loft options feature a slightly larger, cavity-back with the same playability of a player's blade.
3-time major winner Padraig Harrington put the new Tw9 wedges (54 and 60 degree) in his bag after seeing them for just one week, and won the 2008 British Open and immediately followed with the PGA Championship victory only weeks later.
