AI Technology from Callaway

In recent years Callaway have designed some great performing drivers, gamed by both Tour Pro’s and club golfers alike and to improve on this requires deploying the big guns. No not a new Big Bertha range but AI technology to develop the product. It sounds like something from a Sci-Fi film but this technology has created, along with Callaway’s designers, some real benefits to improve golfers’ games.

What’s new?

In the Mavrik head, as opposed to the other designs, we see a unique but unimposing head called the Cyclone Aero Shape. This technology combined with the jailbreak face construction and triaxial carbon crown create some real ball speed gains as seen in fittings so far. What is also really impressive though with this model and product range in fact is the employment of some real premium shaft options including the EvenFlow Riptide shaft and the Aldila Rogue as standard. Even the Tour Velvet align grip is a welcome addition.

Who is this aimed at?

With it’s mid launch and mid spin conditions as well as a slight draw bias this driver will be suitable for the vast majority of golfers. Speak to one of our PGA professionals if you need any further advice including shaft and loft options.
